At REIC, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our eyewear. Your satisfaction matters to us — and we fully comply with Irish, EU, and international consumer protection laws. Please review the following policy carefully before initiating a return or refund.
60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
You have 60 days from the date your order is marked as delivered to request a return or refund. This extends beyond the standard EU 14-day cooling-off period — offering you extra confidence when shopping with us.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn, unused, and in the same condition as received
 - No scratches, marks, or damage to lenses or frame
 - All original tags, packaging, and accessories (case, box, microfiber cloth) included
 - Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
 
How to Start a Return
To request a return, email our team at info@reic.shop within 60 days of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photos (if damaged or defective).
Important: Returns must be pre-approved by email. Unauthorised or unsolicited returns cannot be processed or refunded.
Once approved, you will receive our return address in Skerries, Ireland, along with step-by-step instructions.
Return Shipping Responsibility
If your product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return shipping or send a replacement at no extra charge. For all other returns (e.g., change of mind), the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
All returns must be sent via a tracked and insured postal service. We cannot issue refunds for items lost in transit without proof of tracking.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos. Once verified, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer.

- Sale or clearance items

 - Customized or personalized products
 - Items showing signs of wear, scratches, or accidental damage
 
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to change color or style, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
Fraud Prevention & Abuse
To protect our customers and business, REIC reserves the right to refuse returns suspected of fraudulent activity, misuse, or excessive wear and tear. Claims must include photographic proof where applicable.
EU & International Compliance
REIC operates in full compliance with the Consumer Rights Directive (EU), the Consumer Protection Act 2022 (Ireland), and international e-commerce standards, including the FTC Refund Policy Rules (USA). This ensures fair, transparent, and customer-friendly handling of all returns and disputes.
