Welcome to REIC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products (collectively, the “Services”). The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to REIC. By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
1. Access and Account
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use our Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and ensuring all information provided is accurate and current.
2. Products and Descriptions
We aim to display accurate product information and imagery. However, due to differences in device displays, colors or materials may appear slightly different in person. REIC reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update any product at any time without prior notice.
3. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or reject any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or stock unavailability. All orders are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and to pay all charges, including shipping and applicable taxes. Prices may change without notice.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Once an order has been dispatched to the carrier (e.g., An Post or UPS), ownership and risk transfer to the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Tracking information will be provided. Customers are responsible for ensuring correct delivery details and for collecting parcels within the carrier’s timeframe.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
All REIC eyewear products are covered by a 60-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of delivery. This guarantee includes returns for unused items and replacements for defective or damaged products, in accordance with Irish and EU consumer law.
7. Intellectual Property
All website content — including text, graphics, logos, product images, and code — is the exclusive property of REIC or its licensors. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without written consent is strictly prohibited.
8. Third-Party Tools and Links
Our site may include links or access to third-party tools. These are provided “as is” for your convenience. REIC is not responsible for the content, functionality, or policies of external websites or services.
9. Shopify Platform
This store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that enables our Services. Transactions are made directly with REIC. Shopify is not responsible for our sales, customer service, or product fulfillment.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined therein.
11. User Feedback and Submissions
If you provide feedback, reviews, or suggestions, you grant REIC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for business and marketing purposes without compensation.
12. Errors and Inaccuracies
Occasionally, information on our site may contain typographical errors or omissions. We reserve the right to correct such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
13. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior. REIC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time without notice for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to REIC or others. You remain liable for any outstanding payments prior to termination.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” except as required under Irish and EU consumer law. We make no express or implied warranties beyond those required by statute.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, REIC, its affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under Irish or EU law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless REIC, Shopify, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any applicable law.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and REIC, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
20. Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time without notice.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Ireland. For consumers in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence will also apply.
22. Users Outside the EU
For customers located outside the European Union, including the United States, these Terms are subject to applicable local consumer protection laws. In case of conflict, your local mandatory rights prevail.
23. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The date of the latest revision will always appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
